The title Serial Connection refers to the two galleries Koncentrat and Mobile Gallery, probably the two smallest galleries in Norway, which in this occasion joined forces and connected together for one night stand art show.

The idea was that the father of Mobile Gallery, Ståle Sørensen should hold an exhibition in Koncentrat and the founder of Norwegian Polar Orchestra, Jonas Qvale, with his whole ensemble would have a concert inside Mobile Gallery.

The concert was sent by electrical wires to Koncentrat where it was seen on a CCTV monitor on the wall.

Koncentrat is situated in an old flower-shop in-between a highly congested road, a viaduct and the railroad.

Part of the installation by Ståle Sørensen as seen in
Galleri Koncentrat,
The reindeer horns are made in plasteline, on the floor is a work that can be viewed closer in
Art shop

Meanwhile in Mobile Gallery Norwegian Polar Orchestra had a concert with music played on horns from reindeer, moose and deer.

The concert could be seen on a tiny black and white monitor in Galleri Koncentrat and could only be heard within this space

A small indication why the exhibition was called
Serial-Connection. The picture is from the Gallery wall of Galleri Koncentrat.
